Every Clive Festival event takes a lot of planning and then it takes a lot of dedicated
volunteers to pull it off. We could use your help as a committee member or as a
festival volunteer to help with the events.
Volunteering is fun and a great way to make friends and be a part of your community.
We hope you'll volunteer today.
Volunteer Request Form
Please provide some basic information about yourself , how and when you would like to
help, and your e-mail address so we can confirm your request. We will do our best to
accommodate your job preference, but in the event your position is already filled, we hope
you will be glad to work where you are needed. You and your assignment will be added
to the volunteer roster and posted in the community room area.
Volunteer Jobs
Beer Garden
Responsibilities may involve taking and discarding beer tickets, handing out beer,
opening bottles of wine coolers & pouring into glass, reaching into ice cold troughs of
ice to get beer, may have to unload cases of beer into troughs, may have to lift 25 lb
bags of ice from truck into troughs.
- Thursday Shifts are from 5:30 - 9:30 PM
- Friday Shifts are from 5:30-8:00 PM and 8:00PM to Midnight
- Saturday Shifts are from 5:30-8:00 PM and 8:00PM to Midnight
Beer Tickets
Responsibilities involve checking for wristbands, informing public where they may
receive wristband, using math skills to figure amount due and make change very quickly.
- Thursday Shifts are from 5:30 - 9:30 PM
- Friday Shifts are from 4:30-8:00 PM and 8:00PM to Midnight
- Saturday Shifts are from 5:00-8:00 PM and 8:00PM to Midnight
Wrist Bands
Responsibilities involve checking ID for birth date (Clive Fire Dept.), physically
placing wristband around wrist, ripping apart wristbands.
- Thursday Shifts are from 5:30 - 9:30 PM
- Friday shifts are from 5:00-8:00 PM and 8:00 - Midnight
- Saturday shifts are from 5:00-8:00 PM and 8:00 - Midnight
Kid's Corner
Responsibilities involve helping children working on craft projects, gluing cutting and
praising.
- Saturday Shift is from Noon to 4:00 PM
Parking
Responsibilities involve directing people in parking their vehicles in an orderly
manner using a pre-designed plan which allows for the maximum amount of cars to be parked
in the space provided
- Thursday shift is from 5:00-7:00 PM
- Friday shifts are from 4:00-6:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM
- Saturday shifts are from 4:00-6:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM
Roadie
Responsibilities include helping bands unload and organize equipment and reloading
equipment into truck. This job requires ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Times vary
according to arrival time of the bands.
- Friday, between 10:00 AM - Noon and also between 10:00 PM to Midnight
- Saturday, between 10:00 AM - Noon and also between 10:00 PM to Midnight May be other
needs
Parade
Working with the Clive Chamber in assisting with the route, set up, lining up
participants, security, guiding children to the proper location.
- Saturday, between 8:00 AM - Noon
